ECSOA provides Soccer Officials to the Cities of Auburn and Opelika Parks and Recreation for youth & adult soccer, as well as futsal. Auburn games are played at the Wire Road Soccer Complex and Opelika games are played at the Opelika Sportsplex and Floral Park. Soccer games are played in spring and fall and adult futsal is played during the summer.

Recreational soccer is a great introduction to officiating for youth and adults, alike. You may begin officiating at 14 years old! We offer training on and off the field. Watch our social media and the Groupme for future training opportunities.

You will need the following equipment to referee Rec games: black shorts, ECSOA orange and white tee shirts, 3 striped or solid black socks, predominantly black tennis shoes or cleats, whistle (Fox 40 is best), cards with wallet, flag set, watch and a bag to hold everything.
